Kailash & Asha Biyani
For Kailash and Asha Biyani, music has always been something deeply personal—part of family life, friendships, faith and many happy memories built over the years.
Kailash Biyani’s love for music goes back to his college days, when he would regularly take part in cultural events and performances. That interest stayed with him, eventually leading him to co-found the music group Dhun. Along the way, he had the opportunity to learn from and be guided by Murali Manohar Joshi, Vilayat Khan, Anurag Upadhyay and Kalpa Jyoti. His association with Sanskaar TV and Bhakti Sagar also gave him a deeper connection with devotional music. More recently, he released “Sone Ki Seedhi” on Spotify and other digital platforms.
He has always tried to keep music close to everyday life. Even at work, weekly karaoke sessions have become a simple way for colleagues to relax, sing together and enjoy a break from routine.
Asha Biyani has been an equally important part of this musical journey. She too has been associated with Dhun, as well as devotional groups such as the Sumeran Group. Her learning under Anuradha Damale, Vilayat Khan and Anurag Upadhyay has shaped her musical journey, which has grown through bhajan gatherings, performances and years of singing with family and friends.
Advait Saptak comes from this shared love for music.
For both of them, the idea is simple—to create a warm, welcoming space where people can learn sincerely, enjoy singing freely and build a relationship with music that stays with them for years to come. Just as importantly, they want music to remain open and accessible to everyone, including those who may not always have the means or opportunities to pursue it, so that financial circumstances never become a barrier to learning and experiencing music.
